Arrival in the UK

Students and parents must not book air tickets that mean they will be late arriving at school for the new term. Generally, schools will NOT allow students to arrive late as there are many administrative issues to sort out at the start of each term and these are done for all students at the same time.
We assist students who intend to arrive before the allocated date to book temporary host family stay (at their own expense) until the school is ready to accept them. We will then arrange suitable transport to the school.

During Half Term

Students may elect to study English or other academic studies during their breaks away from the institution in order to improve their confidence. This is highly recommended, especially during the first year of their study in the UK. Otherwise students may forget much of the English they have been taught during their first period at the institution. OPDS can make appropriate bookings on behalf of your child and monitor their performance on the course.

Home Stay

We have a large database of home stay families who are willing to look after students during their holidays from school. These are experienced people who understand the needs of students and who have hosted play online roulette for real money students from abroad before. All families are DBS (police) checked to prove they have no criminal record and we view the premises to ensure they are conducive for a student in which to spend a holiday period.

We recommend students to mix with English families wherever possible in order to practise their language and improve their confidence. It is during this time that English learned at the school in the UK can show real improvement, especially the spoken and listening components.

Leaving School

Students and parents must not book air tickets that necessitate leaving school before the time and date specified. Generally, schools will NOT allow students to leave early as there are many administrative issues to sort out at the end of each term and these are done for all students at the same time.
